Whenever I travel, I like to stay somewhere that I can cook my own meals. I have food allergies and Homewood Suites has a mini kitchen. Perfect for buying groceries and preparing my meals. I had a late check in and early checkout. One of the light bulbs in my room wasn't working and it's hard to find the switch for the light on the night stand. I think the person before me gave up because they ended up unscrewing the light bulb. Clean, updated rooms, I would stay here again.

I had a room for New Year’s Eve because I was performing at Maryland live. After a long night of working I couldn’t wait to get to my room . It’s freezing outside and the front door was locked and wouldn’t open at all. Tried my room key, tried calling front desk, tried knocking really hard and I could see there was no front desk agent at all. I had to freeze and walk all the way to the side of the building just to get in. Ridiculous. Couldn’t even buy any snacks from front desk because there was no one there for a long time. If you’re going to lock the front door of hotel , LEAVE A NOTE AND LET US KNOW ON THE DOOR.

Would NOT recommend for the amount of $$$ you pay per night! We are staying here 2 nights for a softball tournament and we are a family of 4. We were assigned a room with a king bed and a pullout. The room is so small… we had to move furniture to even be able to pull out the sofa bed. We had no room to put suitcases. I went to use the laundry and 2 of the 4 washers were broken. You also have to purchase a token to use the washer and dryer and it’s $2 per token! Paying this much per night and they can’t even provide complimentary laundry?! Also, breakfast is only 6am to 9am, so don’t plan on sleeping in if you want to eat! The parking spaces are super tight as well, so if you have a truck of SUV, be mindful. There are many other hotel options for less $$$ in the area so shop around. We would not have stayed here if we would have known all of this. I guess I was expecting a lot more for the amount you pay per night.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations! I was expecting a rather boring work trip in the suburbs of Maryland but I was greeted by a place that felt like home! All of my colleagues said the rooms (suite style) were excellent and we enjoyed a different and delicious breakfast each day of the week. I personally enjoyed the fitness center which had a rowing machine. The staff worked with me ahead of time to accommodate my business travel needs and we were all delighted there was a complimentary happy hour the Wednesday we were there. It was the kind of place guests were always hanging in the lobby giving it a lively and communal feel. Great stay!

Started out good and then 1. Ice Maker was broken..1 week to fix which it still didn't 2. Housekeeping.. No Habla English. 3. TV signal went out. Repaired 4.Key Card had to be exchanged. Wi-Fi good. These are older Franchises under the Hilton name. Heat is preset have to call front desk to modify temperature.
